Pink Shirt Day Is Wednesday, February 29th At SPJH! Students are encouraged to wear their PINK T-SHIRTS or any form of pink clothing to demonstrate their commitment to bullying prevention at SPJH. The day will include many school-wide, anti-bullying activities for teachers and students as they reflect upon this very important issue and continue to show empathy for others.
In keeping with this theme of empathy, several students had the great idea of organizing a BABY SUPPLY DRIIVE. From now until March 2nd, students and families are encouraged to bring donations of baby clothing, bottles of food, formula, blankets, diapers, wipes, etc. to the Guidance Center or their Homeroom Teachers. All donations will be given to charities supporting new mothers and families that are less fortunate in the Mount Pearl area. STUDENTS WILL EARN HOUSE POINTS FOR THEIR HOMEROOMS FOR EACH ITEM DONATED!
SHAVE FOR THE BRAVE IS COMING TO SPJH!...IN SUPPORT OF YOUNG ADULT CANCER CANADA.
